Product Details - NSWGR BCH coal hopper wagon kit (includes NWSL wheelsets)
The BCH coal hopper wagons were built between 1951 and 1962 and were all steel construction with six transverse hopper doors arranged in pairs long the wagon. They were the first vehicles built without buffers in New South Wales. A total of 1700 wagons were built in four contracts. The wagons were originally fitted with 2BP bogies. In later years low hung 2CC and curve frame CFB were also fitted.
The kit consists of polyurethane, lost wax brass, etched brass and pewter castings and is supplied with 2BP bogies and North West Short Line wheel sets.
